Welcome to Pickr
Pickr is a simple, fast way to run a One & Done golf league with your friends, coworkers, or community. No more spreadsheets, group-text chaos, or “who did I pick already?”—just clean picks, live standings, and bragging rights.

What is Pickr?
Pickr is a web app built specifically for the One & Done format. You create a league, invite players, make a single pick before each tournament locks, and watch the leaderboard update as the week unfolds. We designed it to be lightweight and easy to manage for commissioners.

Why we built it
Running One & Done should be fun, not admin work. We kept seeing the same pain points: manual tracking, missed deadlines, and confusion about who’s been picked. Pickr removes that friction so you can focus on strategy and smack talk—not spreadsheets.

What is “One & Done”? (Quick primer)

  • You pick one golfer for each tournament.
  • You can use each golfer only once per season.
  • Your score is usually the golfer’s official tournament earnings (some leagues use points—either works).
  • Highest season total wins. Simple.
    The format rewards timing and course fit more than deep rosters—every pick counts because you won’t get that golfer back.

How it works in Pickr

  1. Create or join a league and set your rules (earnings vs. points, prize structure, etc.). Not ready to commit to a full season? Pickr allows for various categories of events (Signature Events, Major Events, Fall Swing).
    1. Pickr also allows leagues to implement recycled picks. Incentivize your league to pick the winner and they can select any previously used golfer for a second time (optional setting).
  2. Make your weekly pick before the event locks.
  3. Track standings as tournaments finish—see who’s leading, who’s climbing, and who burned a star too early.
  4. Season recap when it’s over—crown the champ and run it back next year.

What’s next
We’re iterating fast: better player info, smarter schedules, optional emails/notifications, and more league tools. If you have ideas, we want to hear them.
